When we retired in 2017 from Carlsbad, CA, some Friends invited us to come visit Bajamar. The minute we drove through the front gates, we knew we were home! There is a paceful tranquility that is indescribable…. Our children and old Friends were all closed by in SoCal… ocean views, golf and new Friends were just steps away from our front door… doesn´t get much better tan that!

We purchased our first property in Bajamar in 1996.  We consider our decision one of our best!
In a word, Bajamar has everything conducive to a SUPERIOR life style.  It has infrastructure; underground utilities, sewer processing, independent water source of wells and desalination to name a few items.  Other developments lack these things.  On a personal side, there is plenty of open space, clean air and plenty of amenities; pools, tennis, pickleball, dog parks and a superior hotel/restaurant/Golf course, that helps us to maintain an active retirement style.  We bought our home to take a break from our busy life but we decided to retire here because it has made us very comfortable and pleasant.  We highly recommend it to our friends!

In 1990 I and my wife Kathy discovered Bajamar.  By chance we read an article in a golf magazine about a New Years getaway being held at Bajamar. Because I love golf, Mexico and my birthday is January 1st, we both said, ” Let’s make a reservation and go”.  It was a four hour drive from our home in California, but how surprised we were in the beauty of our four day getaway. This led to us buying two years later Townhouse number 9 in Country Club.  Our visits just continued to get better and better. We fell in love with the people, the food the beautiful ocean, golf course, absolutely everything!  Today we own Villa 49 in Country Club and we are retired living here full time.  We still feel so thankful to be here and love our fabulous community.

I think is fear to say… This is one of the world best keept secrets, because Bajamar in my opinion turns in value, it turns in what you get here, what there is to do here and the weather and the cost of living! I can’t imagine were would it be any bether in the whole world… These is a Paradise!
And that is what we do here We live the good life. We are very fortunate to live in a place like this were we can watch the whales swim by, watch the golfers and still have enough money to travel around the United States and the world.
Ones we saw this place, with the weather, and cost of living and everything there is to do here, golf and tennis and hicking and fishing there is just no way that there was any place better tan this.
